Sleek and Chic Spring Wedding

Last weekend I had the incredible honor and responsibility of coordinating and designing a wedding reception for 450 people, in a shopping center with three separate large rooms.  This was by far the largest and most daunting task I have taken on.  Thank goodness the bride had a lot of great ideas and supplies collected for the event.  My job was to take those ideas and supplies and make them cohesive and fabulous.  My personal style always leans more vintage then modern, so creating a sophisticated contemporary reception was a little bit nerve wracking.

I was lucky to have several incredible helpers for the set up of the event.  I couldn't have done it without them!  The bride's father was especially helpful.  He built the huge flower wall we used in the entrance.

Here is a sneak peak of pictures taken by the incredible Danielle Davis Photography.  I swear to you, they are TO DIE!!  I have some of my own snap shots and hope to get those posted asap.  Until then, enjoy this yummy eye candy!

Peter Rabbit Birthday Shindig

So this wasn't an official "M.Eisele Events" production, because I wasn't paid or hired for this gig. But, I did have the pleasure of putting together a Peter Rabbit inspired party to celebrate my middle son's second birthday. I wanted to use as many natural and "real" elements as possible to help give it a fresh, garden feel. All of the centerpiece items came from the garden or grocery stores. I searched all over town for carrots with the natural green stems attached. Turns out the third store is the charm! I bought them out completely. :) And of course, had to have radishes, as those are what little Peter got sick on in Mr. McGregor's garden.

Happiest of Birthdays to "Our Little Cottontail"! You are the best addition to our life that we never knew we needed! I thank God every day for bringing you to our family.
